Writing sponsored posts is a great way to bring in more money to your blogging and diversify your income sources. When a brand asks you to write a review for their product, they value your writing and the following you’ve created, and want to reach out and engage this community. And it’s your job to help them.
But don’t rush into a deal if the product or company has nothing to do with the blog and business you run. A review like that will only sound insincere to your readers and push them away from your blog. Also make sure you understand everything that is asked for, and see if you have the time or will it be worth the effort. Of course, if you’re a beginner in blogging your first offers for sponsored posts probably won’t come from the world’s most famous brands, but more likely from some local companies interested in acquiring the same audience as your blog.
When writing sponsored posts and reviews you need to get creative and write something that people will like and remember. The following four elements are important to get through it easy:
A catchy title.
The title is the first thing readers see when your review gets published. It’s what makes them decide whether to click through and read it, or just skip the link this time. No one would want to read a post titled “The Happy Child Guide Review” unless it’s for a research. Instead, try to catch readers’ attention and draw in their interest.

Is there a story?
Now that you got readers’ attention, the goal is to keep it. And what better way to do this than through sharing a story. Find a way to relate the product you review in the sponsored post with an event in your life, or things other people find interesting, with something current. When the readers can see your story, the personal experience and connection with the product, they’re more likely to click the link, get the information they need, and make a purchase.
Facts can be interesting and memorable.
Reviews don’t always have to be serious, dry, and scientific. On the contrary, use every opportunity you have to represent the facts and numbers in a fun and interesting way because that’s what people tend to remember and share. Make readers enjoy the review, but still keep the main point.
Quality and relevant visuals.
We all know how crucial great images are for a blog post; the same applies to a sponsored one too. If the title fails to attract readers’ attention, large, clear, and high-quality visuals certainly won’t. Make sure to get relevant product images and/or videos from the company that sponsors you that you can display in the post. And if you need to edit them, click for some free cool image editors.
